Phillip Vonesh is a Toronto born singer / songwriter with a distinct roots and americana sound. His songwriting style evokes heartache and wanderlust with clever lyrics and shameless hooks.
Vonesh says; “I strive to write songs that will be stuck in your head as well as your heart.”
He is strongly influenced by the 60s folk revival and 70s outlaw country, add in some 80s pop and you have a songwriter who can borrow from any decade to create compelling contemporary songs that are as timeless as the ones for which they are influenced.
Vonesh has two solo EPs; Cold Hands / Warm Heart (2020), exclusively on bandcamp and Lost Our Way (2019). Vonesh also fronts Indie-Americana band The Spare Parts; who released their debut album Infatuation in June 2021.
